'fish cake' - not really.

This recipe is interesting. I found it while surfing for easy recipes. Isn't the cake decoration cute? I have tried decorating my muffins with lots of chocolate chips on top, and with slices of banana too. But they somehow disappear into the muffin when the tray gets into the oven. Guess they sank into the softened batter in high heat.

Ingredients:
125 g flour
125 g sugar
125 g butter
3 eggs
3 tsp baking powder
200 g black chocolate
2 tbsp water

Glaçage:
120 g chocolate
3 tbsp water
30 g butter
2 tbsp icing sugar

Method:
Break the chocolate bar & add 2 tbsp water.
Melt in microwave oven 2 minutes.
Add butter & mix well.
In another bowl, beat eggs & sugar.
Sieve the flour and baking powder together and fold into the cake mixture.
Add chocolate butter mixture & mix well.
Pour the batter into the greased cake pan (oval).
Bake for 30 minutes, temperature at 180°C.

Decoration:
Cut the mouth of the fish & place it as tail.
Glace the cake & decorate with candies as shown in photo.

I shall try this recipe during my weekends!
